“This post is sponsored by Target. Although all opinions stated are my own”

I had the opportunity to work with Target on styling their new Isabel Maternity line and it was so much fun. I styled my long-time friend Vanessa, who is expecting her first baby (a girl) this December.  I decided to go with items that she was going to be able to wear over and over again. For example, the midi length dress is versatile enough that can be worn with sandals or sneakers, and paired with either a denim jacket for a casual look, or a pleather jacket for a more modern look. The maternity jeans which are comfortable and stretchy in all the right places, and adds support for the baby bump. I’d say your belly is wrapped in the perfect spanks. The cozy sweater is also a great item to have now that winter is approaching, and she will be able to wear it once the baby is born.

I wanted to be able to style her where she showed off her baby bump while being stylish but ultimately comfortable. Comfort is the biggest factor in maternity fashion, in my opinion. That there are so many ways to style these items from the Isabel Maternity line is what caught my eye. Most of the time people assume that maternity clothes are non-flattering and boring. Being a first time mom myself, I really enjoyed my bump to the fullest. I wanted to rocked my baby bump and had many stylish moments. I thought of my baby bump as an accessory to dress up. Dresses were always a must for me as well as the maternity jeans, which gave me that support for my belly and back. Isabel Maternity made it really easy because of the variety of trendy items in the line that are great for all body types.

I like shopping at Target for maternity clothes because I always know that I will find the latest trends at affordable prices. Maternity styling can be fun when you shop at the right place. What style advice would you give to expecting moms? I would say don’t hide the baby bump. Rock those fitted dresses and wear whatever makes you feel confident.
